Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you submit a contact or request form on this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, city, selected service topic, urgency, and message or notes. The form also sends a limited, normalized attribution label such as “google_organic,” “yelp,” or “direct” for attribution. It does not send raw referrer URLs, full page URLs, query strings, or click-ID values through the form. Hosting and platform providers may process technical request data under their own policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use submissions to process the request, communicate with you, operate the website, and maintain limited attribution. A submission may be processed through automation or CRM systems. General Septic may coordinate with partner companies when useful or needed on some jobs, and relevant request details may be shared for that coordination. We do not use the form to promise an appointment or service outcome.
3. Analytics
Optional Google Analytics 4 is off by default and loads only after you explicitly choose Accept analytics in the preferences prompt. The site's explicit events are page_view, lead_form_submit, and header_phone_click. Google's tag also generates built-in lifecycle events, such as user_engagement. The integration uses an allowlisted canonical path, a fixed safe page title, and an empty page referrer. It does not send names, phone numbers, email addresses, messages, form values, user-provided data, raw query strings, URL fragments, document titles, or raw referrer URLs to Analytics. Google may receive a network IP address as part of ordinary network delivery, which this website cannot prevent; that technical fact is separate from the event data selected by this site. The current Google Analytics retention setting for Analytics user and event data is 14 months. This does not describe retention for contact requests or other operational records.
The integration requests denied advertising storage, denied ad user data, denied ad personalization, disabled Google signals, ad data redaction, and no automatic page_view. Review Google's current notice for its processing practices.
4. Cookies
The site may use browser storage for limited functionality, including a normalized attribution label or interface state. If third-party analytics or advertising tools are enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Browser settings can clear or restrict this storage, although some site functionality may be affected.
5. Data Retention
We do not state a fixed retention period here. Contact submissions may remain in the automation, CRM, or partner coordination systems used to process a request, each of which may have its own retention practices. For questions about information submitted through this website, use the contact form and identify the request as a privacy inquiry.
6. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Contact
For privacy questions about this website or a submitted request, use the contact form on this site.
